It would seem, what's so difficult about buying a set of bedding? But it's precisely the size of the bedding that most often causes disappointment after purchase: the blanket doesn't fit into the duvet cover, the sheet slips off, and the pillowcase is a struggle to put on. To avoid this, it's enough to understand the logic of sizes once and then choose quickly and confidently.

How to choose bedding size for a mattress?
The rule is simple: the size of the set is chosen to match the mattress, not the bed. Measure your mattress and check the table above; this is sufficient for 90% of cases.
But there's a nuance with the sheet. If your mattress is 20 cm high or more, look for a fitted sheet or be aware that a regular sheet will slip off. A standard sheet is designed for a mattress up to 20 cm high; for taller ones, you need a size "one step larger" or a model with elastic around the perimeter.
What are the differences in sizes: details on each
Children's set
Children's bedding is designed for a standard crib or temporary mattress. A 110×140 cm duvet cover is not a "small adult" one, but an independent format where the child is comfortable and there is no excess fabric.
Important: children's bedding is divided into several categories, depending on the age of the children and has different sizes.
| Category | Mattress | Duvet Cover | Sheet (regular) | Fitted Sheet | Pillowcase |
| Infant (0–3 years) | 60×120 cm | 110×140 cm | 110×140 cm | 60×120×12 cm | 40×60 cm |
| Child (kindergarten / junior crib) | 70×140 cm | 110×140 cm | 120×150 cm | 70×140×12 cm | 40×60 cm |
| Teenager (twin) | 90×200 cm | 150×210 cm | 160×220 cm | 90×200×20 cm | 50×70 cm |
| Teenager + (Euro junior) | 100×200 cm | 160×220 cm | 180×240 cm | 100×200×20 cm | 50×70 cm (2 pcs) |
Single set
A classic format for one sleeper. The 140×205 cm duvet cover evenly covers the body and doesn't "slide off" to the side. Suitable for narrow beds and sofas with a sleeping area width of 80–90 cm.
People often ask if a single set can be used on a twin mattress. It can, but it will feel noticeably narrow in width, especially if you move actively in your sleep.
We produce single sets from 100% natural fabric, in various colors and prints view single sets Supreme Rest
Twin set
Twin bedding. Who is it for? For a single sleeper who finds a single bed too cramped. Or for mattresses 80–120 cm wide, when a double is too large, and a single is too small.
Twin is a popular choice for teenage rooms and studios where a sofa bed takes center stage. Here are the sets we produce view twin sets Supreme Rest
Double set
Double bedding is standard for a family bed with a mattress 140×200 cm or 160×200 cm. One duvet cover for two and a wide sheet, view double sets Supreme Rest
But there's an important detail from our production: if one of the couple "pulls the blanket" on themselves, a double duvet cover of 180×215 cm can cause discomfort during sleep. In this case, you should consider a family set (two separate duvet covers), more on that below.
Euro set
Euro is the most spacious option for couples. The 200×220 cm duvet cover gives each sleeper enough fabric with extra room. Suitable for mattresses 160-180 cm wide.
If you have a large mattress and want the bedding to look good, with a nice overhang on the sides, Euro sets will be the best solution.
Family set
Family bedding is two separate duvet covers in one set on one large sheet. Each person sleeps with their own blanket of the desired density, in their own thermal regime, without any "pulling" during the night.
It is family sets that are now being chosen by more and more couples, especially those who have discovered the Scandinavian approach to sleep.
What are the most common mistakes
Mistake 1: Focusing on the bed size, not the mattress size
A 160 cm bed usually means a 160×200 cm mattress. But some models have a smaller mattress inside a large frame. Always measure the mattress itself.
Mistake 2: Buying a duvet cover "with extra room"
A larger duvet cover does not mean it's warmer or more comfortable. Excess fabric gathers in folds, is difficult to make, and spoils the appearance.
Mistake 3: Ignoring mattress height
A standard sheet is designed for a mattress up to 20 cm. If you have an orthopedic mattress 25–35 cm, you need either a larger sheet or a fitted sheet.
Mistake 4: Buying a children's set "to grow into"
Children's bedding in adult size is neither comfortable nor safe for infants; excess fabric can cover their faces. Buy for the current mattress and change as needed.
